blessings for your existence if you live according to God's will. At least two elements can be found only in the life of an individ ual daily performing God's will. These will be peace and joy or sat isfaction. These are the two most sought after commodities by peo ple the world over. Paul stated that peace depends upon a state of spiritual-mindedness (Rom. 8:6, 14:7). Both are included in the fruit of the Spirit (Cal. 5:22). It is absolutely essential that you live by faith and obedience to the teaching of the Word. Check up on yourself. See if your daily deci sions are in the will of Cod. Not only will you have blessings from within, but the Scripture makes it very clear that you will also have Page 43
a safe future path. The key to spir itual success consists of a day-by day application. We need to pray even about little things that we might know Cod's will. You may be sure that your fleshly, carnal self will try to avoid the Bible and its truths. Sa tan tries to discredit the Scriptures. All the while the Spirit of Cod seeks to make an application of them to your life. How do we make our decisions? The Psalmist deter mined, "I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, ev en unto the end" (119:112). Cod will give us perfect peace if our minds are stayed upon Him (Isa. 26:3). Because of our love for Christ we will want to obey Him (John 15:10, 11). There will be untold
