Silver Dollar Simmentals would like to invite you to our 2 nd Annual Production Sale. Crazy to think we’re rolling into our 2 nd year in the seedstock business. We’d like to consider this our first production sale offering as this is the first calf crop from the breeding decisions we, ourselves, have made. With a strong emphasis on artificial insemination, it’s been fun to see the breeding decisions made last spring come to fruition. While we’re still in the trial- and-error phase, we are and will continue to strive for progress over perfection and we think this lineup has done just that.
This year, we’re excited to offer up 25 yearling bulls, 15 advanced-age bulls, and 5 bred heifers. The 2-year- old bulls in the offering have passed their BSE and are ready to go to work, developed to ensure longevity in your herd. The bred heifers come straight from our replacement pen. Our goal since day one has been to tighten our calving window, thus we hold our bred heifers to a high standard. These heifers are for sale simply because they were bred a little later than we’d like, but still portray the maternal qualities we strive for throughout the herd. We tend to get attached to these girls so it will be hard to let them go. Nonetheless, we have no doubt they’ll be a great addition to anyone’s herd.
