Other works by Bedřich Smetana
‘Svárovsky and the Slovak Philharmonic go at them with vim and a certain swagger; there are enjoyably characterful violin and woodwind solos.’ – Gramophone
‘Antoni Wit and his excellent Polish National Radio Orchestra give us a superbly played and consistently imaginative account.’ – Penguin Guide
‘To my ear, this new performance is mighty fine, and the work itself is hard not to like. Smetana was an inspired melodist and a highly effective orchestrator.’ – Fanfare Classical ource
