‘The Scottish pianist Elizabeth Haughan endeavours to get the maximum appeal out of Kiel’s works by differentiating the individual movements or pieces well and enlivening them with nuances, dynamic changes and accents… The sound recording is very natural and pleasant.’ – Pizzicato
‘[Warren Lee] plays the miniatures or the short pieces from the Six Romances and Préludes et fugues cycles with style in a most humble and honest way. This lends these interpretations an impressive seriousness that does justice to the melodic charm and elegant style of Gounod’s music.’ – Pizzicato
‘Wong’s interpretation brings warmth, clarity, and vitality to works that deserve recognition alongside those of Taubert’s more famous contemporaries.’ – Interlude
‘[Tuccia’s] playing is superlatively precise throughout, delicate and impassioned by turns and clearly responsive to the writing.’ – MusicWeb International
