YEAR IN REVIEW 2025

A Message From Cormac & Damien

“As we look back on 2025, this has been a year marked by resilience and commitment. Commitment to our people, commitment to innovation and commitment to the future of our industry. Across every department and every project, we have seen our teams rise to new challenges, strengthen our reputation for excellence, and deliver work that reflects the values we stand by. One of the highlights of the year has undoubtedly been the progress within our education and development pathways. From welcoming our newest undergraduate cohort to celebrating the graduation of a talented group of future leaders, 2025 has reaffirmed the importance of nurturing the next generation. Their curiosity, ambition, and fresh perspectives have brought great energy to the organisation, reminding us why continuous learning and development remain central to our long-term vision. The dedication, collaboration, and drive of the achievements of our workforce shown throughout the year have enabled us not only to meet our goals but to surpass them. As we move forward, we are committed to building on this momentum - expanding opportunities, strengthening our culture, and ensuring that Errigal remains a place where people thrive and where excellence is both expected and celebrated. Over the past few months we have been working on a new 5 year plan that will help develop new goals with more clarity and unity. This plan will be shared in the early months of 2026. For us both, 2026 marks a special time in our friendship & working life as we celebrate 30 years in business at Errigal. We look forward to sharing some stories together as we celebrate our success and we look forward in the years ahead to the stories not yet lived.”

IT Applications – Innovation in Action The coming months promise exciting advancements in our applications suite. Working with our external technology partners, we will be introducing a new workforce management application in Q4 2025, a platform designed to enhance communication and collaboration across teams. In addition, a digital Journal solution will soon be available to support our Under Graduates, making it easier than ever to record their learning, progress, and achievements.

Looking Ahead As we approach 2026, we are poised for a year defined by connection, innovation, and growth. Our vision is clear: to empower every member of the team with technology that works seamlessly and delivers everyday value. We would be grateful to have your engagement, ideas, and support. Together, we are building an even smarter future for Errigal. IT team working at Winter Wonderland

DESIGN Across the UK, Ireland and Europe, regulatory expectations continue to evolve, with a stronger focus on design accountability, technical competence and the delivery of safe, compliant buildings. Clients increasingly expect design partners who can navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining consistency, quality and buildability across projects and jurisdictions.

The Errigal design department has responded to this challenge by placing design quality and assurance at the centre of everything we do. This approach supports clarity of decision-making, effective collaboration with the wider project team, and reliable design outcomes from concept through to construction.

Our design team regularly give talks to young designers on challenges faced in design development and the regulatory requirements in the construction sector. Our senior designers also give regulatory change tutorials to their peers in the industry.

We understand the importance of clear information and our focus is to ensure our designs are practical, buildable, and properly considered. I’m proud of how our design team has adapted to recent regulatory changes, embedding new practices across all areas and countries in which we operate.
