As 2025 wraps up, it’s fair to say it’s been a busy one for the Tech Team. The team's activities included strengthening cyber security and implementing new digital solutions to support Errigal’s operations. The objective continues to be maintaining IT systems that are secure, efficient, and effective for the business.
Cyber Essentials – Building a Secure Foundation We’re delighted to announce that Errigal has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials certification! This marks a major milestone in our journey to build a stronger, more resilient security framework. It’s a clear demonstration of our ongoing commitment to protecting our organisation, our clients, and our digital environment. As we look ahead to 2026, our focus turns to the next exciting challenge - Cyber Essentials Plus. This next stage will further enhance our defences and ensure we remain at the forefront of cybersecurity best practice – for Errigal and upcoming tender requests. We’ll be calling on everyone across the business to stay engaged and support the process as we continue to strengthen our digital foundations together.

IT Applications – Innovation in Action The coming months promise exciting advancements in our applications suite. Working with our external technology partners, we will be introducing a new workforce management application in Q4 2025, a platform designed to enhance communication and collaboration across teams. In addition, a digital Journal solution will soon be available to support our Under Graduates, making it easier than ever to record their learning, progress, and achievements.
