Les participants partiront de l’école L’Escale pour se rendre jusqu’au monument Terry Fox en face du Parlement. Des bénévoles ont distribué des pancartes et des bruiteurs à ceux prêts à participer à l’évènement annuel La rue, la nuit, femmes sans peur, à Hawkesbury le 19 septembre. L’évènement visait à sensibiliser le public au problème de la violence faite aux femmes et aux enfants.
