Find the Right School, Right Here — With EnrollOKC.org
Many Oklahoma City parents may not realize they have more free, public school options than the one assigned to their neighborhood. In fact, across the metro, families can choose from dozens of high-quality public charter schools that are free, open to every student and designed to offer unique learning environments where children can truly thrive. Until recently, exploring those options wasn’t easy. Parents who wanted to compare schools often had to visit multiple websites and sort through different applications, deadlines and enrollment systems for every charter school. For busy families, the process was time-consuming and often overwhelming. Beginning this year, that process gets much easier. On Dec. 1, Fuel OKC — a local nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to high-quality public school options in Oklahoma City — launched EnrollOKC.org , the city’s first unified public charter school application. For the first time, families can apply to all Oklahoma City public charter schools using one free, online form that is available in both English and Spanish. All 32 public charter schools across 12 charter school networks in Oklahoma City are participating for the 2026–27 school year.
“We wanted to create a clear, simple path for families,” Fuel OKC CEO Brent Bushey said. “Instead of juggling multiple applications and deadlines, parents and guardians can now complete just one application form and rank the schools that best fit their child’s needs. This is an important step forward for our community, and we hope district schools will join in the future to create a truly seamless, citywide enrollment experience.” EnrollOKC.org was designed to be easy to use and accessible for all families. The application website includes clear, step-by-step instructions and guides applicants through any required document uploads. For additional support, two bilingual parent navigators are available by phone and email to answer questions, walk applicants through the process or troubleshoot issues along the way. This new system eliminates the confusion of managing multiple applications and conflicting deadlines, creating a streamlined path for Oklahoma City families to explore and apply to the schools they prefer. The common application is now open at EnrollOKC.org, and families are encouraged to submit priority applications by Feb. 13, 2026, for the 2026–27 school year. Whether your child thrives in a hands-on STEM classroom, a language-rich elementary program or a small, community-focused school, EnrollOKC makes it easier than ever to explore your options — and choose the public school that’s right for your family.
