ORGANISING STEWARDS
Stage 1
UNISON stewards are the most important link between members in the workplace, their employer and the wider union. This 10-day course is for new stewards to give you the knowledge and skills to support members locally and take on issues in your workplace. The first four days (Stage 1) are about who we are and where we are going, your place in UNISON, organising and meeting your members.

3RD, 4TH, 5TH, 6TH FEBRUARY 10AM - 4PM
COMMUNICATING FROM THE INSIDE OUT This practical, interactive, and engaging one-day course will provide insight into communication styles, behaviour and personality traits and develop an understanding of how and why people behave and communicate the way they do. You will learn how to connect with others on a one-to-one or group basis using a range of language, physiology, and voice techniques. This workshop can support you to engage more effectively with those you work with and those you support in your personal or professional life.
