ORGANISING STEWARDS Stage 2
UNISON stewards are the most important link between members in the workplace, their employer and the wider union. This 10-day course is for new stewards to give you the knowledge and skills to support members locally and take on issues in your workplace. The next three days (Stage 2) are for workplace representatives and will certify you to accompany members at disciplinary and grievance hearings in compliance with the Employment Relations Act 1999.

ANXIETY BASED SCHOOL AVOIDANCE
This workshop is aimed at those supporting children who are experiencing school-based anxiety in a professional and/or personal capacity. The session aims to develop an understanding of the risk factors, potential triggers and proactive strategies to interpret behaviours and provide appropriate support. This is an engaging workshop which involves group discussions and practical activities to enhance learning. The aim is for attendees to leave the session feeling equipped with strategies and tools to support these children and young people, who are often misunderstood.
