MEDICATION FOR HOME - CARE/SUPPORT WORKERS Medicines management training for support staff is a half-day training which focuses on how to support people taking oral and topical medicines in their own homes. The course will cover legislation and guidance, the safe administration process, storage and disposal, side effects, incident reporting and how to assist a service user with a cognitive impairment. There will be an opportunity for hands-on experiential learning. Delivered by Elizabeth Smyth, Medicines Management Specialist Nurse.
