SUICIDE AWARENESS & PREVENTION
This is a half-day workshop which aims to give participants an understanding of the issues around suicide, why people consider it, risk factors, and why someone may not ask for help, how to communicate safely with someone at risk, and support networks. This is open to any member with an interest in the subject matter, from a professional or personal perspective.

MAKATON LEVEL 1 Level 1 training provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme. Sessions include discussing commonly asked questions, hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use, and how to start using Makaton in everyday situations at home or work. You will also learn the signs and symbols from Stages 1 and 2, and some of the additional stages of the Core Vocabulary.
