SUPPORTING CHILDREN’S EMOTIONAL REGULATION
Emotional regulation is a skill that children and young people develop through their life experiences, however they need appropriate adult support to do so. As adults we often feel ill-equipped to provide this support. This workshop aims to provide a solid understanding of children’s emotional development, a crucial knowledge base before moving on to exploring relevant strategies. This workshop includes group discussions and a range of practical activities to enhance learning.

MAKATON LEVEL 1 Level 1 training provides a practical introduction to the Makaton Language Programme. Sessions include discussing commonly asked questions, hints and tips for effective signing and symbol use, and how to start using Makaton in everyday situations at home or work. You will also learn the signs and symbols from Stages 1 and 2, and some of the additional stages of the Core Vocabulary.
