TRASH PANDAS FIELD STAFF #31 ANDY SCHATZLEY MANAGER The second manager in Trash Pandas history, Schatzley guided the team to the top of the Southern League standings in 2021, winning both first and second half North Division titles for the best record in the league at 81-57. The 2022 Trash Pandas marked the first time the Angels’ Double-A affiliate reached the postseason since the Arkansas Travelers accom- plished the feat in 2015. Following the season, Schatzley was named the 2022 Southern League Manager of the Year, becoming the first Trash Pandas manager to win the award. He earned the 2021 Preston Gomez Award as the Angels’ Minor League Manager of the Year. #15 JOEL CHIMELIS HITTING The third hitting coach in franchise history, Chimelis arrives in Rocket City after spending the 2023 season as a hitting coach at Triple-A Salt Lake. While there, Chimelis guided the Bees offense to a .274 average and 172 steals, both fifth in the Pacifc Coast League. Chimelis helped lead former Trash Pandas Trey Cabbage and Jordyn Adams to seasons with over 10 home runs and 30 steals. Chimelis was drafted as a shortstop in the 11th round of the 1988 MLB Draft by the Oakland A’s and would reached as high as Triple-A. Chimelis played in 68 games for the Huntsville Stars in 1991. #43 MICHAEL WUERTZ PITCHING Wuertz is back in 2024, the only member of the staff to remain with the Trash Pandas for their first three seasons. Under the direction of Wuertz, 10 former Trash Pandas pitchers made their MLB debut for the Angels over the past two seasons. The 2024 season will be Wuertz’s seventh season in the Angels organization, having previously worked with High-A Inland Empire and Rookie-Level Orem. As a Major League pitcher, Wuertz posted a 3.71 ERA and a 21-11 record along with 11 saves over eight Major League seasons. In addition to three years with the A’s, Wuertz spent the first five seasons of his career with the Cubs. #37 DANN BILLARDELLO COACH Billardello is in his third season in the Angels organization after spending most of the last 16 years in the Cardinals system managing Low-A, High-A, and Double-A. He won a Pioneer League Championship in his managerial debut for the Great Falls Dodgers in 2002. Appeared in 382 MLB games over eight big league seasons from 1978-1994, playing for the Cincinnati Reds, Montreal Expos, Pittsburgh Pirates, and San Diego Padres hitting .204 with 18 home runs, 91 RBI, and 79 RBI in his MLB career. Also, he played in over 800 minor league games, hitting .260 with 90 home runs, 385 RBI, and 347 runs. During his big league career, was teammates with Hall of Famers Tony Gwynn, Johnny Bench, and Andre Dawson. DAVID ROBERTSON STRENGTH Robertson joins the Trash Pandas and the Angels organization after earning Northwest League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator of the Year honors in 2022 for High-A Hillsboro in the Arizona Diamondbacks system. Prior to his coaching career, Robertson spent five seasons as a professional baseball umpire from 2005-09, including a stint in the Southern League. He is also an Army Veteran. DYLAN CULWELL TRAINER Culwell joins the Trash Pandas organization after previously working in a similar role for High-A Tri-City. He was named the Northwest League Athletic Trainer of the Year after the 2022 season. Prior to the 2023 season, Culwell served as an athletic trainer during the World Baseball Classic for Team Italy. Culwell has four years of experience as the head athletic trainer at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Culwell graduated with a BS in Athletic Training at both the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Tabor College. He also earned his MS in Health/Health Care Administration Management at Grand Canyon University.

Toyota Field was designed to be universally accessible and comfortable for fans with all abilities. There is specific seating for individuals in wheelchairs and their companions in Sections, 01, 02, 03, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 13, and 22 and 26 on the club level. ALCOHOL

The Rocket City Trash Pandas work hard to promote responsible sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. ALL guests purchasing alcohol must present a valid ID. No alcohol will be sold to intoxicated guests. Alcoholic beverages are available at concession stands throughout Toyota Field, as well as portable beverage stands and Club Bar. Remember, should you choose to drink, please do so responsibly and be considerate of other fans. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the ballpark, but they may be brought out in an approved Green Cup as part of the Town Madison Arts & Entertainment District.

ANIMALS

Dogs are welcome at Toyota Field ONLY on Wednesday games, as part of our Dog Days promotion presented by Tito’s. Service dogs or service dogs in training for guests with disabilities are allowed. All other animals are prohibited.

ATMs

Toyota Field is a cashless venue, but there is one Trustmark ATM within Toyota Field. ATM is located on the concourse behind Section 4.

AUTOGRAPHS

Fans who enter the park prior to game time may go down to the outfield side of the dugouts and ask for autographs. Autographs are left to the player’s discretion. Autograph seekers must return to their seats when the starting lineup of the visiting team is being announced. Please do not disrupt others that are seated and enjoying the game.

BABY-CHANGING AREAS

Changing stations are located in every restroom at Toyota Field.

BAG SEARCH

All bags must be CLEAR and fall within the Clear Bag Policy. All bags are subject to inspection prior to enter- ing the ballpark. See PROHIBITED ITEMS.

BIRTHDAYS

CAMERA AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT

Cameras and video recorders are allowed inside Toyota Field as long as they do not obstruct the view of others. Camera stands/tripods and camera bags are not permitted.

CASHLESS POLICY

MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted at ticket windows, concessions, parking, and merchandise locations. Also Trash Cash gift cards can be used and can be purchased with cash at The Junkyard Team Store.

CELLULAR PHONES

The use of cell phones is permitted, provided they do not interfere with another guest’s ability to enjoy the game. The Guest WiFi at Toyota Field is “RC Trash Pandas - Wireless.”

CHARITABLE DONATIONS

The Trash Pandas hold a variety of donation and supply drives throughout the season to benefit local charities. For donation requests, you can fill out the form here and a staff member from our Community Relations team will connect with you.

CHILDREN

Children ages two (2) and under may be admitted to Trash Panda games without a ticket but need to sit in the lap of an accompanying adult. Children ages three (3) and above require a ticket.

CLEAR BAGS

Fans will be encouraged not to bring any bags; however, one (1) of the following will be permitted: One clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”, or a one-gallon clear freezer bag, or a small strapless clutch bag or purse no larger than 6.5” x 4.5”. Some exceptions will be made for fans with health-related needs and parents bringing infants to games (ie: diaper bags).

DIRECTIONS

COMING FROM THE EAST: On I-565 W, take exit 13 onto Madison Blvd, turn left onto Zierdt Rd., then right on Town Madison Blvd. and finally a right on Trash Panda Way.

COMING FROM THE WEST: On I-565/US-72 E, take exit 10 onto Town Madison Blvd, then turn left on Trash Panda Way.

ELEVATOR

There are two elevators inside Toyota Field, one of which is located on the concourse behind home plate (at the Trustmark Bank VIP Entrance). Guests are required to present a Club Level or appropriate hospitality area ticket to access the elevator. There is also an elevator in left field to allow 360-degree access to the concourse for all fans.

EMERGENCY

In the event of an emergency, protocols will be announced over the public address system and fans will be directed to the appropriate locations.

EXIT AND RE-ENTRY

Guests must receive a hand stamp when exiting Toyota Field. Re-entry is permitted at both the Main Pepsi Gate as well as the Trustmark Bank VIP entrance. Guests must show their stamp and game ticket to re-enter the ballpark.

FAN MAIL

While we cannot guarantee that all fan mail will be answered, the team, coaches, players and staff like hearing from their fans. Letters to Trash Pandas players should be addressed to them individually and mailed to: Players Name, c/o Rocket City Trash Pandas, 500 Trash Panda Way Madison, AL 35758. If a response is desired, a self-addressed, stamped envelope is recommended. The Trash Pandas players, management, and staff are not responsible if an item or letter is not returned.

FIRST-AID

First aid is available at Toyota Field, and we have Emergency Medical Services on location during all games. The Blue Cross Blue Shield First Aid Room is located behind Section 11 on the concourse.

FIRST GAME CERTIFICATES

Certificates are available free of charge at World Micro Guest Services, behind Section 5.

FIRST PITCHES

One member of a group attending a game in one of our hospitality areas or any group of 50 or more is eligible to throw out a first pitch for that night’s game. For more information on how to book a group outing, please call 256-325-1403 Ext: 2.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE LOCATIONS

Locations for specific food and beverage options can be found using the Digital Game Day Program as well as on TrashPandasBaseball.com.

FOUL BALLS

Foul balls can be very dangerous. For your safety, please keep your attention focused on the field while the game is in progress. Fans are welcome to keep as souvenirs any balls hit or thrown into the stands. However, fans are not permitted under any circumstances to enter the playing area to retrieve a ball. Entering the play- ing area at any time for any reason will result in automatic ejection from the ballpark.

GATES OPEN

Main Gates (Pepsi Gate) typically open 65 minutes prior to game time. The Trustmark Bank VIP Entrance opens one hour and thirty-five minutes prior to game time. The VIP Entrance is for Season Ticket Holders, Suite Holders, guests holding a Stadium Club pass and Toyota employees with the appropriate badge/hologram.

GIFT CERTIFICATES - TRASH CASH

Available in any increments and can be purchased at The Junkyard Team Store (located at Toyota Field), at Guest Services, and online at shoptrashpandas.com.

GIVEAWAY POLICY

The Trash Pandas policy is to distribute one giveaway item per eligible fan entering Toyota Field. An eligible fan is a fan that meets advertised age limits or other requirements. Extra tickets for a game may not be redeemed for giveaway items.

GROUPS

For group outings of 20 or more, call the Rocket City Group Sales Staff at (256)-325-1403 Ext: 2 and ask about the special benefits and discounts available exclusively for groups.

GUEST SERVICES

Located on the main concourse behind Section 5, World Micro Guest Services features team and ballpark information, first-aid assistance, on-field contest sign-ups, ticket information, Trash Cash purchases and more.

KID ZONE

The Main Event Kids Zone is located down the left-field line beyond Section 13. The Kids Zone features a free playground area and rubberized floor for extra care. Alcohol is not permitted inside the Kids Zone.

LAWN CHAIRS

Due to the slope of the Budweiser Berm, and for the safety of our fans, lawn chairs are PROHIBITED at Toyota Field. However, blankets are allowed.

LOST AND FOUND

Fans may come to the Trash Pandas Front Office or call (256)-325-1403 in an effort to locate missing items. The World Micro Guest Services booth also has lost and found items. You will have 30 days to claim your belongings if they are left here.

MASCOT

The Trash Pandas mascot is named “Sprocket”. You can see Sprocket at all Trash Panda home games and keep an eye out for him in the community.

MERCHANDISE

Official Trash Pandas merchandise is available in The Junkyard Team Store located adjacent to the Bill Penney Toyota Plaza. The store is open year-round. Souvenirs are also available in-game at The Junkyard. The Emporium at Bridge Street is also open throughout the year with varying hours. Merchandise is always available online at shoptrashpandas.com.

MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL

The Rocket City Trash Pandas are a Double-A Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels and member of the Southern League.

OUTSIDE FOOD & BEVERAGE

For the safety and security, outside food & beverage (including bottled water) cannot be brought inside Toyota Field.

PARKING

There are on-site park spaces at Toyota Field. The cost of parking is $6.75 per vehicle if you pre-pay thru the Clutch App. Download the app to pre-pay and reserve your parking spot prior to the game. Day of game parking is $10 per vehicle.

POST GAME PICK-UP PROCEDURE

Fans who need to be picked up after the game should use the center field gate to exit. Pickup is on Stadium Way.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Food, beverages, weapons of any kind, (even with a concealed weapons permit) containers such as coolers or thermoses, lawn chairs, helium balloons, banners or signs that are not in the spirit of the event or that obstruct the view of others, animals other than service animals, compressed air horns, hoverboards, laser pointers, coolers, and drones are all prohibited at Toyota Field.

Personal radios and handheld television sets are permitted inside Toyota Field. The Trash Pandas flagship station is Sports Radio 730 AM and 103.9 FM The UMP, and all home games are broadcast live on WAAY 31.6 ThisTV.

RAINOUT POLICY

In the event 5 innings of one game are not played, except when the home team is in the lead at the end of 4 1/2 innings, tickets may be exchanged for any 2021 regular season Trash Pandas home game of equal or lesser value, subject to availability. Cash refunds are not permitted. Exchanges must be made in person.

RESTROOMS

There are 4 men’s and 4 women’s locations on the main concourse; and 2 family restrooms located near Champy’s. There are 1 men’s, 1 women’s and also 1 family restroom located on the Club Level.

SCALPED TICKETS

Tickets may not be resold on the property of Toyota Field or in the parking areas that surround it and tickets associated with such transactions are subject to confiscation. We highly recommend fans ONLY purchase tickets through trashpan- dasbaseball.com or the Wicks Family Foundation Box Office.

SEATS

The total capacity of Toyota Field is 7,500.

SECTIONS

Sections 1-5 are located on first base side. Sections 6-10 are located behind home plate. Sections 11-18 are located on third base side. Sections 6-10 are located behind home plate and are also behind the net. Seats in all sections are num- bered low to high, with the low number starting on the right-hand side as you face the field from behind the section.

Smoking is prohibited inside Toyota Field. This includes e-cigarettes, vapors, cigarettes, and cigars. Guests wishing to smoke while at Toyota Field should be directed to exit at gate and ask for a hand stamp for re-entry or be directed to the Smoking Area behind home plate.

SUITES

There are 15 total suites located on the Halsey Suite Level. Four are available for nightly rental - One double suite and 3 single suites. For more information, contact the Group Sales Department at (256)-325-1403 Ext: 2. For more information on suites, click here.

TAILGATING

In order to help provide a fun, family atmosphere both inside and outside of Toyota Field, the Trash Pandas have established these guidelines for the parking areas:

By law, alcohol consumption in the parking lots is illegal. No open containers of alcoholic beverages are permitted on public property such as the ballpark’s parking areas.

Preparing food or beverages of any such kind where such preparation necessitates the use of an object or practice that is considered unsafe, hazardous or unhealthy to guests or participants is prohibited.

Barbecues: Only approved gas/propane units with fuel-valve turn-offs are permitted. No charcoal is allowed.

Toyota Field parking lots open 2 1/2 hours before game time. Parking lots close 1 hour after the game’s conclusion.

No vehicle may occupy more than one parking space. Guests may not obstruct other parking spaces, sidewalks or other areas that may impede pedestrian traffic to/from Toyota Field. Overnight parking is prohibited.

Any tailgating material and refuse should be strictly disposed of in a safe manner. Guests should be courteous and dispose of their own trash. Please help us keep Toyota Field and the surrounding areas clean by not littering.

TAXI / UBER SERVICE

Guests in need -of a taxi should report to Guest Services located on the concourse behind Concourse Suite 5. Uber pick up is located in center field, guests can use the center field gate to exit the ballpark. Pickup is on Stadium Way.

TICKETS

Tickets to upcoming events at Toyota Field can be purchased in-person, over the phone or online.

Non-Gameday Hours: Weekdays 10-6pm, Saturday 11-3pm, Sunday CLOSED

Gameday Hours: Monday – Saturday 10am – End of the 7th, Sunday – 3 Hours Prior to game time – End of the 7th Inning

TOURS OF TOYOTA FIELD

The 45-minute tour provides an insider’s look at Toyota Field and Trash Pandas baseball. Tour stops may include the Trash Pandas clubhouse, press box, visitors’ clubhouse, dugouts, on deck circles, suites and club level. Tours may not be available on days that coincide with baseball games. Prices per person (minimum of 10 guests): $10. Contact Maddison Kendrick at mkendrick@trashpandasbaseball.com to schedule.

UMBRELLAS

Umbrellas are permitted inside Toyota Field, but should not obstruct the view of others.

WATER FOUNTAINS

Located near the Trustmark Bank VIP Entrance on the concourse, near the All-Stars concession stand behind section 13 on the concourse and also on the Club Level between the restrooms. Standard and wheelchair accessible.

WILL CALL

Window 5 at the Toyota Field Ticket Office is the designated Will Call window. Will Call tickets are available any time after single-game tickets have been purchased. Tickets are released only to the person whose name appears on the will call envelope. No one will be given tickets designated for another person.
