A LIST OF ASSET CLASSES:
s a real estate investor, you owe it to yourself to broaden your understanding of asset classes. With where we are in the current mar - ket cycle, what you are making your return on today might not be available six months from now. Seasoned inves - tors invest on the market opportuni - ties not just their limited knowledge. In 2010, flipping houses by the hundreds made sense and it might also make sense today. However, in 2019 when we were at the peak of the market, it was not a great idea to be flipping in high volumes due to where the market might poten- tially land. There are various asset classes as well as styles of investing that a real estate investor should be educated A
on. The more diversity in education will lead to longevity and elongated wealth. That is not to say that you should engage in all these styles or asset classes; it is just to say that you should be educated and be ready to take advantage if the market changes and your current class or style stops yielding the results you want. •
