The Lakes South Morang College Newsletter PRINCIPAL REPORT
School Pride
School Council has overseen $300,000 in facility upgrades, improving ICT capability, learning environments and upgrading communication channels— including newsletters, Compass, the Inspire Magazine and social media—to strengthen connection and community pride. School publications including Inspire are presented to the highest quality and our productions reflect a level of excellence so that our students shine with each and every showcase event. Our College grounds are maintained in the highest order so that our community feels and shares our pride and our School Council effectively audits and responds in a timely fashion to parent/carer requests through “ Hot Topics ” and issues that impact their child or their College.
Positive Climate for Change
Community partnerships are thriving through family fundraising events, strong transition programs and preparations for the 2026 Kindergarten opening. Our transition programs are now extensive and our College consistently identifies resources and opportunities to engage all learners in numerous courses beyond those offered at the College. We encourage our Alumni and wider community to provide their expertise to curriculum programs and engage our leaders, staff and students, to present their achievements at conferences and events.
