Company Overview LionHeart Critical Power Specialists, headquartered in Huntley, Illinois, has provided generator and ATS services to commercial industries since 1999. The company is led by Don Ritter, President, Mike Hunter, Vice President of Sales, and Ken Lenhart, Vice President of Software Solu- tions. LionHeart supports customers across healthcare, data centers, property management, government, educa- tion, and other commercial sectors. Services include gen- erator and ATS maintenance, fuel system services, fire pump engines, paralleling switchgear, and custom project solutions. EGSA Membership and Involvement LionHeart has been an EGSA member since 2012 and is actively engaged in the association’s programs. For the past two years, the company has hosted the EGSA Load Bank School and Certification training at its Huntley facili- ty. LionHeart regularly attends EGSA conferences and par- ticipates in the Dealer and Distributor Committee. EGSA’s Technician Certification Program is especially valuable as all LionHeart technicians are required to be certified or working toward certification. Operations and Workforce LionHeart’s team includes field service technicians, sales account executives, and in-house engineers. The compa- ny is committed to building a skilled workforce and main- taining high standards of service. All technicians must complete EGSA certification, which supports consistent performance and technical expertise across the organiza- tion. Industry Trends and Challenges The rapid growth of data centers has created increased demand and contributed to extended lead times for gen- erators, fuel tanks, control panels, and other critical com- ponents. Despite these challenges, LionHeart remains competitive by properly setting client expectations. In addition, there is an industry challenge with sourcing and retaining high-quality field service technicians.
