A Selective Membership Process: Wilmington Country Club offers an exclusive membership experience built on a foundation of shared values. Our membership is invitation-only, ensuring a discerning process that seeks individuals and families who embody our core principles: community, integrity, and excellence. The membership committee stewards this process, carefully evaluating candidates who demonstrate a desire to contribute to our vibrant club atmosphere.
Your Journey to Membership: Proposer: An existing member in good standing nominates you for membership.
Supporting Documentation: You will need to complete an application, provide information about your professional and community involvement, secure two written letters of recommendation from current members, and submit four verbal reference s from current members. Committee Review: The Membership Committee will diligently review your application, supporting materials, and schedule an interview. Election and Orientation: Following a favorable committee recommendation, your candidacy is presented to the membership for a vote. Upon election, you will be required to attend an orientation with the Club’s General Manager. The membership process is designed to be thorough yet efficient, taking approximately 45-60 days from start to finish. To ensure a smooth experience, your proposer will be your designated point of contact, keep you updated on the application's status and be available to answer any questions.
Financial Details Initial Stock Purchase
2024 Stock Purchase: $75,000 Payable in full at election or over four years with a 6% carrying fee and based upon the current year’s stock price.
Annual Dues
Senior (Stock Holding Member) Operating Dues: $9,150 + Capital Dues: $1440 = $10,590 Associate (Spouse) Operating Dues: $4,623 + Capital Dues: $732 = $5,355 Children Ages 10-24 Operating Dues: $1,506 + Capital Dues: $237 = $1,743
