Benefits for the GC / Builder

 Can be constructed and pre-finished in a modular environment. Better quality control.

Large potential labor savings. • Less steps means lower labor costs to install relative to competing systems. • With modular construction, able to convert $85/hr. union labor to $20/hr. factory cost. (example)

Traditional EIFS system

 Does not require scaffolding to install. (Hidden cost savings)

 Reduce construction cycle by weeks / months. • Can lead to better ROI. • Allows flexibility in “critical path” timelines.

SIS™Modular System Parapet walls being installed

 The system performance leads to fewer call-backs and maintenance.

Benefits for the Building Owner

2013 Hotel Occupancy Statistics

Other Benefits

Better energy performance leading to reduced energy costs over time.

Lower overall maintenance costs.

Competitively priced to EIFS, (among the lower cost alternatives) with much better performance.

Source: STR Global Statistics – March 2013

 Less steps directly allows for quicker occupancy for the building owner.

Architectural flexibility in design.

 For a full-service hotel, getting in just 60 days early can mean an additional $882,240 in profit!

Tremendous fire performance.

 This more than pays for the entire building envelope.

ROK-ON, Naperville Hotel Presentation Document ID: NH08R0517

Benefits for the Architect

 Completely developed exterior wall system that can help the

architect provide their client with a superior building envelope at a price that is among the lowest cost alternatives in the marketplace.

 The system can take weeks or months off the construction cycle leading to earlier occupancy. The increased revenue can actually help offset the cost of the envelope leading to a lower overall cost and better ROI for the client.  The system exceeds the 2015 ICC IBC and IRC codes, with superior performance. Fully tested to meet all of the applicable building codes in North America.

Osaka – Pier Park

Embassy Suites -Naperville

 Design flexibility. ROK-ON™ can accept most exterior finishes with little or no modification to existing plans.

 Significant projects are already in place that allow proof of concept. Passed the test of the owner, architect, builder, and code officials. • These include brands like Hilton®, Holiday Inn®, the Dept. of Defense, and others. • Proven Financial models are available • Completely developed details are available

Holiday Inn - Mexicali

Benefits for Prefabrication

ROK-ON (SIS)™ is perfect for prefabrication of external wall assemblies.  Modular projects often include only the frame and sheathing. The balance of the wall is finished in the field.  ROK-ON (SIS)™ replaces several layers of a typical wall assembly in one product, that is installed in about the same time as the first layer of sheathing.

 Productivity is increased as the time to construct a wall assembly is substantially reduced.

• ROK-ON (SIS)™ is attached to the frame using conventional tools. • No special requirements. • Additional steps to install the vapor barrier or the exterior continuous insulation are not required. • The panel can be finished directly, reducing even more layers like wire mesh and multiple applications for stucco.

Fewer steps means less time in the construction cycle which equals greater productivity. It also means less labor and space is required to complete the tasks.

ROK-ON, Naperville Hotel Presentation Document ID: NH08R0517

Benefits for the Modular Builder

Along with the increased revenue and margin potential, productivity is also significantly increased adding further to the profitability of the system for a modular builder.  Installation of the entire wall system is achieved in about the same time as the first layer of sheathing in traditional assemblies.

 Additional steps to install the vapor barrier or the insulation are not required.

 Since the panel is a screw base and can be finished directly, even more layers can be reduced – like wire mesh for stucco.  Fewer steps means less time in the construction cycle – greater productivity. It also means less labor is required to complete the tasks .
