Is there manual underwriting for Choice? We estimate 5–10% of cases will be routed to manual underwriting.

If my client is declined for Ethos IUL, should they try Ethos Term – Choice? Due to similar underwriting rules for both products, declined Ethos IUL applicants are encouraged to apply for TruStage™ Advantage Whole Life. How can I ensure my client gets Ethos Term – Choice with Living Benefits vs. another term product Ethos offers? Start a quote using the Term with Living Benefits tile in the quoter. Our standard product routing may present a term product that does not offer living benefits.

What will my client be redirected to if they fail to meet Ethos Term – Choice with Living Benefits eligibility? Some applicants will get the Terminal Illness rider only 1. Applicants who do not qualify for Ethos Term – Choice at all will be invited to apply for TruStage™ Term Life or TruStage™ Advantage Whole Life.

If an agent is appointed in California, what product will they see for a California client? Until regulatory approval is received for California sales, agents who start a quote from the product tile will not be able to quote Ethos Term – Choice in California. Via our standard product routing, the product will be available but without living benefits.
