1935-36 Cars & 1935-37 Pickups Check your door and quarter windows, as these cars and pickups came with either Rubber Bumpers ("-A" in part # suffix) or Felt Strips ("-B" in part number suffix) that fit on the door or garnish molding between the metal and glass, to cushion the window glass. 1934 Closed Cars (except 3 Window Coupe) 1934 featured two different door designs and each requires a different window channel kit. Front Mount Door Handle fits directly on door latch. Order kit part # with "-F" (front) suffix. Center Mount Door Handle fits on remote handle mount near center of door. Order kit part # with "-C" (center). 1932-42 Cars: Originally black, cloth-wrapped or metal beaded edges by Ford, and that's how we build them today. Option: Some of these kits are available with polished stainless steel edge beading for around the window openings. If you desire this option, order the kit part number with "-SS" in the part number suffix, if available. 1946-48 Cars: These kits come only with polished stainless steel edge beading for around the window openings, just as all these cars had originally.

We include RH & LH vent window glass edge seals in all kits, which attach to the division bar and seal the rear edge of the vent window glass when closed.
1941-48 Coupes Ford made two types of Coupes and the doors are different sizes. Measure your window opening between the vent window division bar and the inside edge of the rear post.

1941-42 Coupes & Sedans On the inside of each of the front doors there is a large metal channel that mounts vertically to guide the front edge of the door glass. Ford used two different lower mounting brackets on this vertical channel. Check your original lower mounting brackets and choose our kit part number with either “-A” or “-B” in suffix, to determine your correct kit as shown at left.
