Bob Drake Catalog 30

Windshield Knobs & Regulators 1932 was the last year for Ford cars to have the push-out windshield which used slide-arms and lock knobs on each side, but also remained for two more years in pickups. The all-new 1933 car had a single regulator with its turn knob mounted in the center of the dash. This roll-out windshield function remained basically the same through 1939, which marked the final year of this once unique ventilation feature. 1940 brought the first year Ford with a totally stationary windshield with a thick, solid rubber seal.
