• 1933-35 Gas Tanks Hydrostatic Gauges Accepts original hydrostatic fuel sender for original fuel gauges, but you’ll also need to use our adapter kit 40-9003, see page 403. • 1936-59 Gas Tanks Original Gauges No problem, but you must use Bob’s fuel sender 99A-9275 (6- or 12-Volts) on page 403. Sorry, original senders will not fit into our 1936-59 car gas tank’s fuel sender opening. • 1936-59 Gas Tanks (except 1957-59 Ranchero) Aftermarket Gauges Accepts many different maker’s gauges like VDO, Stewart Warner, Classic and many more. Here at last! Now you can put those neat gauges in your dash like VDO, Stewart-Warner, Classic Instruments and many others. The Drake Team has designed our fuel sender hole flange for choices in using aftermarket gauges, or use your original Ford gauge when partnered with our 99A-9275 Fuel Sender. Bob’s Fuel Sender Flange is Not Installed On: 1932 B-9002 & B-9002-LG. Uses VDO, Classic & SW. 1957-59 Ranchero B8A-9002. Uses original-style “Twist-Lock”. 1948-72 Ford Pickup Tanks use original senders. Important Note for Using Aftermarket Gauges: When purchasing a complete gauge set, the manufacturer’s own fuel sender is included, because each gauge maker uses different ohm settings which require using their own specific fuel sending unit.
