The program consists of 12 quarter based terms, allowing our graduates to enter the field of nursing in under 3 years. Traditional ‘prerequisite’ courses are embedded in our 12 term program, allowing you to start working as a registered nurse in less time. We allow students who have completed college-level coursework at other institutions to transfer up to 25% of their credits. Each credit transferred reduces your tuition cost. Sumner College is institutionally accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES), a U.S. Department of Education-recognized national accrediting agency.
Rachel, RN I have always wanted to be a nurse. I am very close to my aunt who has been an amazing Nurse Practitioner for over 30 years.I always felt I had a calling to nursing. I chose Sumner College’s nursing program because they were genuinely interested in educating me and really wanted me to attend. I was able to make some lifelong friends, and meet some wonderful instructors who taught and guided me in my journey to becoming a nurse. Graduate Success Story
