If your Dream is to become a Registered Nurse, we can help you get there. While most schools are only interested in your GPA, we are interested in you. Your acceptance is based on a combination of TEAS exam scores, a panel interview, and essays that allow you to tell us your story.

All documents are submitted through a secure portal link that is sent to each applicant by their admissions representative.

Classes begin every ten weeks
Information Session All applicants are required to attend a mandatory information session. This session focuses on admissions and program requirements, curriculum, credit hours, class schedules, clinical experiences and program outcomes. TEAS Exam: 2-5 Points Awarded Applicants take the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS). There is a $80 non-refundable assessment fee due at the time you reserve your testing date. Applicants must obtain a overall score of a 71% or higher on the TEAS to be considered for admittance into the program. Applicants must provide a form of Government ID (ex: driver’s license) to sit for the TEAS exam and a copy of your ID will be placed in your application file . At this time, the college will only accept TEAS exams that were administered at Sumner College, or at an approved in-person testing facility. The College recommends applicants purchase a study manual to prepare for the exam. There is a maximum of 3 attempts for the TEAS exam per year. TEAS Exam Point Scale Points awarded are based upon the overall TEAS score:

Applicants are required to complete an interview with the Admissions Representative assigned to assist them through the application process. The steps to apply for the program, course delivery, clinical experiences, and program outcomes will be discussed. Applicants have the opportunity to tour the campus and speak with the Financial Aid department. High School Diploma or Equivalent Applicants must possess a high school diploma, GED, or an equivalent
