ADDITIONAL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS Drug Screening
A drug screen is required for admittance into the BSN Program. Any evidence of drug use or a positive drug screen may result in an automatic dismissal from the program. In states where marijuana has been legalized, it is still considered federally illegal. Criminal Background Check All students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program will be required to complete a criminal background check. The criminal background check gives permission for an agency to access all criminal case data including conviction, non-conviction, and pending data. Failure to complete or participate in any required agency screening will result in the student not being placed at clinical site, which may lead to possible dismissal from the program.
