PUBLIC NOTICE CLOSURE OF BÉLANGER BRIDGE IN LEMIEUX
Les Comtés unis de Prescott et Russell désirent informer le public qu’une fermeture complète du pont Albert Bélanger, situé sur le chemin de comté 8 à Lemieux, à environ 11,6 km au sud du village de Bourget dans la municipalité de La Nation, est prévue à partir du 21 février 2023, et ce, jusqu’à la fin des travaux à l’automne 2023. Le détour proposé pour la circulation en direction nord se fera par le chemin de comté 16, le chemin de comté 9 et le chemin de comté 2. Le détour proposé pour la circulation en direction sud se fera par le chemin de comté 2, le chemin de comté 9 et le chemin de comté 16. Les détails du détour seront disponibles à partir du début de la construction, sur le site Web suivant : www.municipal511.ca. The United Counties of Prescott and Russell wish to inform you that a complete closure of the Albert Belanger Bridge, located on County Road 8 in Lemieux, approximately 11.6 km south of the village of Bourget in the Nation Municipality, is scheduled to take place from February 21, 2023, until its completion in the fall of 2023. The proposed detour for northbound traffic will be via County Road 16, County Road 9, and County Road 2. The proposed detour for southbound traffic will be via County Road 2, County Road 9, and County Road 16. Details of the detour will be available from the start of construction at the following website: www.municipal511.ca. Are you passionate about the welfare of children and adults with developmental disabilities? Service Coordination Support (SCS) is the initial contact for people who have a developmental disability or children with autism in Ottawa and the Eastern Region (Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry, Prescott Russell and Renfrew). We help people find available resources in the community that are needed to assist them in their daily lives. One of our important goals is to empower families/individuals to make informed choices about the supports they seek. SCS is a not-for-profit bilingual organization managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Vous avez à cœur le bien-être des enfants et des adultes qui ont une déficience intellectuelle? Service Coordination Soutien (SCS) est le point de contact initial pour les personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle ou pour les enfants ayant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme à Ottawa et dans la région de l’Est (les comtés de Stormont, Dundas et Glengarry, de Prescott Russell et de Renfrew). Nous aidons ces personnes à trouver les ressources disponibles dans la communauté dont elles ont besoin pour les aider dans leur vie quotidienne. L’un de nos objectifs importants est d’habiliter les familles/ et les personnes à faire des choix éclairés concernant les soutiens qu’elles cherchent. SCS est un organisme bilingue sans but lucratif géré par un conseil d’administration composé de bénévoles. Nous sommes à la recherche de bénévoles de la région d’Ottawa et la région de l’Est. Les candidats idéaux ont une expérience pertinente des fonctions au sein d’un conseil en plus d’avoir fait preuve d’un grand leadership et posséder une solide expérience dans l’un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : • Services aux personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle; • Gouvernance d’organismes à but non lucratif; • Ressources humaines; • Finances. L’expérience personnelle dans le secteur pour les personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle est un atout important. Le Conseil a actuellement un besoin particulier de membres dont la langue maternelle est le français. We are seeking volunteers from within the Ottawa and Eastern Region. Ideal candidates have demonstrated experience with Board duties and governance issues and exhibit strong leadership and expertise in such areas as:
• Developmental Services; • Not-for-Profit Governance; • Human Resources; • Finance.
Personal experience in the developmental disability sector is a strong asset. The Board also currently has a particular need for members whose first language is French.
