Founder’s Day
n Founder’s Day was a wonderful community event and an opportunity for our Year 6 pupils to set up and run fete-style stalls to raise money for AFRIL, a refugee school in Lewisham. Their impressive efforts ensured that we raised £1049.85 for AFRIL. For our Year 3, 4 and 5 pupils it provided a chance to showcase some of the fantastic creative work that took place in the Junior School this year…LAMDA performances, Wombat Stew Strings, year group singing performances, and the notorious historical battle re-enactment club. In addition, Miss Rowe ran a very successful charity art sale, where every pupil had their artwork displayed and available to purchase. The evening concert was a truly splendid event. Some of the photos here capture the sense of celebration and community enjoyed by so many pupils, parents, staff, alumni, family and friends.
