with guidance,” Brittany says. “Now that’s what I’m trying to do for my team.” For Brittany, that means welcome calls, Strategy Sessions, meeting together in person, and multiple video conferences throughout the day. “We are a very tight-knit team,” she says. “And no matter where you are, no matter what time it is, we have something and someone available to help you grow your business and be successful.” “She never quits,” Ben adds. “When you become a member of Brittany’s team, you get someone who runs alongside you and makes sure your goals are accomplished.” “We really do everything together,” Brittany laughs. “I invite the team over all the time for grilling. I love all my team like family. I truly want to help everyone who joins us completely change their lives. It’s my personal mission to ensure that everyone on our team is taken care of.” There’s no question that Brittany leads by example. It’s a lesson she learned from her own support team. “The reason I’ve become a powerful leader is that I was given guidance by Executive Director 6 Lisa Fuller and Corporate Director 6 Erin Clark,” Brittany says. “They’ve molded me into the leader I am now, and I believe that the more personal, daily guidance I give my team, the more we will all be successful.” MH
Like many busy moms, Brittany begins her day early and doesn’t slow down until everyone is in bed. But Brittany’s day begins even earlier than most. “At 5:00 AM we hold our morning video call,” Brittany explains. “It’s a chance for my whole team to get together before the craziness of the day. We drink coffee and put together a plan of what we want to tackle that day. We also discuss what happened the day prior and help each other with any problems or situations that may have occurred.” For Brittany, this early morning video conference is nonnegotiable. “We are all in this together,” she says. “It requires me setting my alarm an hour or two earlier than I would otherwise, but it lets my team know that they are not doing this alone. And that’s a big deal.” “It also sets the tone for the day,” Ben adds. “You’ve already accomplished something before the day even starts, and that lets you carry a solid sense of accomplishment throughout the rest of your day.” That sense of camaraderie is a real key to the Pollocks’ success. “When I enrolled, I was instantly welcomed and comforted
