What I did: Filed and coded invoices, reconciled premium payments monthly for 15 states, journal entries, unclaimed property, payroll allocations. What I liked: Being in a professional setting. Getting to do real work in the accounting field that furthered my interesting in accounting/ finance. Learning new things often from various members of the team. Sitting in on team meetings and getting to hear different things about how the finance department/ company as a whole is ran. Future Dream Job: Chief Financial Officer.
