Welcome to our annual production sale! We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the annual production sale for Weber Farms Angus! These are very exciting (and profitable) times that we are currently in. Never has there been more incentive to in- vest in quality genetics!! This year, our annual sale will be held on Monday, December, 8th. As we have done in the past, we will be selling the bulls and females using a timed auction format on DVAuction.com. The auction will open on or about December 1st and will be closing on December 8th at 6:00 PM with extended bidding. As in the past, we will be having an open house to view the cattle at the farm on December 7th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We will again be offering both registered and com- mercial females bred to calve next spring. The registered cows were all implanted with sexed female embryos sired by Sitz Eternity 739L and out of the great 8171 cow. These heifer pregnancies are due to calve 1/21/26. These regis- tered females were then exposed naturally to McConnell Crusher 1403 for a short 30-day window. Breeding in- formation, as confirmed by ultrasound, is available with each of the registered female lots. The commercial heifers were AI bred to Crusher and will be due to calve 2/20/26. McConnell Crusher, or any of our other herd sires, will be available to view if you would. The cow herd has always been the primary focus for us and producing females that excel in a fall herd is crucial. Our goal is to produce females that are easy fleshing, deep ribbed with good udders, sound structure and excellent feet. Fertility is also bred into our cows as we only expose them for 50 days following AI. The bulls produced from these females will add real value to any cow herd, both commercial and registered. With calving in the fall, our bulls are not pushed on a high energy ration following weaning. Calves are weaned in late winter/early spring, and the bulls are developed on either grass pastures or high-quality grass hay along with a pelleted complete feed from weaning until delivery following the sale. A change to our program this year is that bulls will be semen checked prior to the sale. All BSE data, including scrotal measurements, will be available at our open house and on DVAuction. Bulls will be wintered free of charge through the end of December. The option of having us continue to develop the bulls until spring, or even up to when your breeding season begins is available, at a cost of $3.00/head/day. All bulls are guaranteed for breed- ing related injuries through the first breeding season or September 1st, 2026, whichever comes first. If you do not plan to use the bulls for the conventional spring breed- ing season, please notify us after the sale or at the time of use. Any injured bull will be replaced with a suitable replacement and if no replacement is available, credit will be towards the purchase on our next sale. The credit given will be the purchase price minus salvage value of the bull. We invite you to come to our open house on Sunday, December 7th at the farm to view the bulls and females. Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the day. As always, feel free to come early and view the sale cattle at any time at your convenience. The entire cow herd will be nearby, and you are always welcome to look at the dams of any bulls or females selling. The Weber Family
