En faisant ça, on parle avec eux, on fête et on leur rappelle de beaux souvenirs.» Les bénévoles de l’hébergement et des soins ont pris une part active à l’activité, en préparant les résidents pour l’évé- nement. Pour sa part, une fois la fatigue du voyage passée, le père Noël, incarné par Alfred Daoust, est arrivé sur les lieux. «C’était la tempête en haut là-bas, mais maintenant, les petits lutins sont bons pour nous, la température est belle, on va pouvoir faire pro#ter de tout cela à nos amis résidents et les gâter», a assuré le père Noël.

LACHUTE I Les Chevaliers de Colomb de Lachute ont organisé, le 10 décembre, en collaboration avec le Centre de santé et de services sociaux d’Argenteuil, un dîner de Noël pour les résidents des deux centres d’hébergement et de soins de longue du- rée du CSSS. L’événement en était à sa troisième édi- tion. L’idée a germé grâce à la récréo- logue, Sylvie Guay, qui avait approché le Chevalier Michel Joly pour que son organisme, qui a beaucoup de personnes dans les deux CHSLD, organise une acti- vité au sein de l’établissement, comme le faisaient déjà le Club Richelieu et les Lions. Mme Guay a précisé que sa dé- marche visait à emmener la communauté vers ces patients béné#ciant de soins de longue durée. Pour le dîner de Noël, le chanteur et musi- cien de Val David depuis 43 ans, Daniel Fontaine, était de la partie pour interpré-
