Christ becomes our firm foundation. Anchoring our life in His safety and security. He is our only Hope. The Eternal Hope.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give a hope and a future.” If you do a word study on Hope, you will discover that the Lord has much to say about It. He wants us to know that He is our Hope and when we enter into a relationship with Him, He guides us and teaches us how to hold fast to Him. To stay anchored to Hope in Him so the cares of this world won’t make us fearful or panicked, knowing that He will take care of us and has promised never to leave or abandon us. God has always been faithful to me throughout my whole life. Even in times, that I might not have recognized that He was there. I can look back and see that He always has been. That is why I can say to you, that Christ is your only Hope.
Psalm 39:7 “But now Lord, what do
I look for? My hope is in You.”
In my own personal life, I have learned that Christ is the my only Hope in this life and to the next. Back in 1981, when I went through a cancer diagnosis, knowing and trusting in Christ that He is my Healer, gave me the hope to trust Him to bring me through that difficult time. And forty two years later, I am still cancer free because of His Healing. When life throws hard things at us, Christ is our Anchor, holding us secure, so we won’t drift every time bad news comes, or when life hits us hard. Each time Christ
Because He is the only firm, safe foundation that you can trust and put all of your hope in. In this world, that seems to grow darker by the day, Jesus our Hope is the Light to guide us in this journey of life So I ask you, what are you anchored to? Where do you find security and safety in your life? Have you been drifting off course? Have you crashed upon the shore? Only Jesus Christ can set your life back on course.

brings us throughsomething, it builds our faith and hope to know He will continue to be our firm foundation that we can trust in all things. Why? Because we are anchored to Him. “Once you choose Hope anything is possible.” --Christopher Reeve. Whatever life has brought my way, my hope is in
Christ. When I focus on Him and not issues of life, I can relax and know that He is working on my behalf. My faith and hope in Him, helps me continue to trust Him with all that concerns me. Hope is a powerful tool in my Tool box in my journey in Cultivating Faith.
“Out of the mountain of despair, a stone of Hope.” --Martin Luther King Jr. Out of the ashes of a ruined life, Christ can raise you up and set your feet on the solid Rock. Psalm 40:2 “He lifted me up from the pit of despair, out of the miry clay, He set my feet upon a rock, and made my footsteps firm.” Become a prisoner of Hope today. Anchor yourself to Hope. Because Hope has a Name. His Name is Jesus Christ.
Scripture has a lot to say on the topic of hope.
Hebrews 6:19 “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil.”
Zechariah 9:12 “Return to the fortress, you prisoners of Hope. Even today I will restore double to you.
