We serve delicious home-style food and amazing hand crafted coffee drinks Monday through Friday from 5:30 am to 9:00 pm and then on Saturdays from 5:30 am to 7:00 pm. We make everything in house and from scratch using family and friends’ recipes as much as we can. Our menu features all your breakfast favorites, lean fresh ground 1/2 lb burgers, chicken and specialty sandwiches, our very own SWEET BISCUITS, and made from scratch fresh baked pies! Did we mention we also have some of the best coffee, lattes, and other hand crafted beverages around?!? It’s one thing to find a place with great food, another to find one with great coffee drinks, but how many can say they have BOTH? What are the company values? We sum our mission up in 3 words... LIVE, LOVE, GROW... We measure our success corporately and as individuals by the amount of life we bring when we walk into a room. Goals? We have been given so much and know it was not given to us just to soak up and consume ourselves. We hope to be a fountain to the community, not a drain. From our time, talents, and treasures our goal is to use them to influence and make our community a better place. How long has Double Barrel been in business? The Double Barrel Coffee House Cafe came to life November 12th, 2019. How many employees does Double Barrel have? When opening the doors we thought we were going to be a 4 to 7 person operation. We recently passed our 4th anniversary and currently have 13 on our staff. What is unique about your business? We hope everything! From the atmosphere, to the genuine and sincere people we have been blessed to hire, being a place where you can get great coffee and food all at once, our very own Sweet Biscuits, the pies (some places say fresh baked but that only means they pull them from the box and bake them... it doesn’t mean made from scratch and fresh baked that day), and hopefully the impact we have in the community are all things that set us apart. What has been biggest success? It is humbling... so many things... the greatest though is having the opportunity to lead people to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Nothing is more important and even if God had simply used us to reveal himself to one person we would have been humbled. But, knowing someone’s eternity has forever been changed is by far our greatest success. What has been biggest challenge? Ourselves. Trusting God to provide all we need to do what He has called us to do. God never orders something He doesn’t pay for. We had our freshman year and though scary our community embraced us and put us on the map. In 2020, Covid hit and we had the opportunity to stay in business but only if we would pivot, get creative and embrace that indoor seating was not an option or very limited. Then Covid 2.0 hit in 2021, as workers were hard to find, food costs really began to climb and we were seeing businesses we have loved for years close their doors. That brought us to 2022 and food costs went as much as 4 or 5 times as high as ever before, workers are even fewer and farther between, gas prices have surged and fuel surcharges are being added to everything, spending is slowing as interest rates were predicted to hit a 30 year high and for many disposable income greatly decreased due to everyday needs. Now it’s 2023 and all of this said, God has been faithful every step of the way even in our short comings. We are still open, very thankful for everyday for the opportunities He gives us and are overwhelmed by the people He has brought into our lives through the Double Barrel. What are Double Barrel’s plans for 2023 or in the future to grow and develop the business? To Love, Live, and Grow. To Love God by being the organization He has called us to be, to Love the community He has
blessed us to be part of, and to love each other and all the people God places in our lives. To Live and bring life to our community and each other. To be a light, set up deep roots in Great Falls that won’t wither or blow away. To seek the very best for the community we call home. This is something we strive to do… to bring life into every situation or wherever we go. To Grow. We hope to grow as a business, even to expand into other adventures that bless the community but we believe equipping and growing each individual person who partners with us at Double Barrel is what will lead to this. A big plan for 2023 and beyond is investing more into our people and their talents. We believe the more equipped and better they are the better everyone around them will be! We also know that the chance of them one day being employed elsewhere is very good. Whether they stay with us forever or go elsewhere, we want them to be more equipped to use their individual talents and abilities making them more valuable and more of an asset whether with us or on their next adventure. If we do the above things we believe the rest will come together in perfect timing. Or what are your top priorities right now? Right now our priority is staying focused on being the people God has called us to be. We fall short daily in every aspect but have been given a gift and opportunities to make a difference even in our shortcomings. We know Double Barrel is very active in the Great Falls, Montana community. Can you tell us some of things you do for the community? We strive to be a place/a people that take our gifts, talents, and influence wherever given an opportunity into the community. We believe as our community gets better we too will have more opportunities to grow. If we can help an organization, group, sports team, school, individual, or fundraiser we will do so however we can. Anything else you would like to share or let people know about your company? The best is yet to come. Stay tuned… we are updating our website and are going to be having lots of exciting things coming to the community and people we love. COMMENTS/REVIEWS FJ said: “The coffee, pies and biscuits are all top notch, but WOW! The burgers! WOW! Best burger I’ve had in a long time. tasty, perfectly cooked to order. This is my go-to place for lunch or dinner if I happen to be in town for the day. Wish I lived closer. Oh by the way, my wife had apple pie for dessert and she said it was one of the best ever because the apples were crisp & flavorful. This place continues to impress.” Kandace Said: “Finally got in to try this place and Holy smokes! Best coffee in town so far. The smores latte is phenomenal and honestly the price was less than it should be!” Gary said: “My wife and I just ate there tonight and had breakfast for dinner to switch things up. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while she ordered the garbage omelet which has everything in it. We shared the meal and wow, it was delicious. The sweet biscuits are amazing also. I think they are better than any doughnut I have ever had. Customer service was excellent. I am so happy someone did something great with that building. Next time we will go back for some burgers for sure and try the pie. See you soon!!” Heather said: “Best new breakfast place in town!!
