The EAP can also provide you with crisis intervention 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency. All contacts and/or visits are 100% confidential. This program also provides Work-Life Services that include legal services, financial services, savings center (discounts), online services (seminars, e-learning) and other resources. Employees who are not on working time (e.g., those on lunch or breaks) may not solicit employees who are on working time for any cause or distribute literature of any kind to them. This also prohibits solicitations via e-mail or other electronic or telephonic communication systems during working time. Furthermore, employees may not distribute literature or printed material of any kind in working areas at any time. Any acts of solicitation should be reported to Human Resources. Individuals not employed by the Village may not solicit or distribute literature on Village property, at any time, except for persons engaged in bona fide business-related activities as permitted by the VOP.
