BY THE NUMBERS A coordinated marketing and communications effort was a vital part of the promotional campaign for both sponsorship and attendee recruitment. The 2023 Annual Meeting in Kauai had more than 500 attendees and 79 sponsor companies generously supporting the Western Growers Annual Meeting and the Western Growers Center for Innovation & Technology.

Spotlight The Annual Meeting was promoted via in-house advertising and in more than 20 times in Spotlight, Western Growers’ weekly e-mail newsletter to members. Total reach of this newsletter is more than 6,500. The Spotlight articles were also featured on WGA.com, with a reach of 6,583. Email Promotion More than 13 targeted e-mails advertising the event were sent to members, with a total reach of more than 5,600.

Mobile App The Western Growers Annual Meeting App recorded 312 unique downloads, a 10% increase from 2022.
