and time again. The shadows became illuminated, and rendered me bewildered. One glance over my left shoulder and I saw that I was not alone anymore; I glanced for a second time and noticed…could it be the girl who still remained in my thoughts after all that time? What should I do? How should I approach her? Do I approach her? Has she perhaps followed me here? Does she have intentions of her own with me? I shifted in my seat, which had become warm and increasingly uncomfortable; my breathing had hastened and my hands were slippery. I rose from my throne of discomfort and headed for the door. My legs felt weak and I groped my way, using the seats to uphold my limp body. My stifling, damp hand steamed up the golden door handle and I stood motionless for a second, battling with my conscience as to the right course of action. I spun round on my heel, taking each step with extreme caution as I neared her row; my hands were shaking and I felt as if I had swallowed my tongue. Her head turned mechanically as she stood, but her pale eyes shone out as they glared with fear directly into mine. I moved each leg forward, one at a time, closer to her, and she mirrored my movements; soon we were within touching distance.What now? My exploring hands met her buxom body, my desires ready to be engaged, and my blood rose upward. Her vacant eyes meant little to me; flushed, yet anxious, my invasion encountered no defence. Each offensive unveiled areas to exploit and discover and each assault answered more and more questions. I planted a final kiss on her soft, moist cheek and, like a drunk, staggered out of the room, leaving her to ponder.The way home was dark and I was fatigued, but I ran; I was uncertain where I
