SUPPORT AT WI TNEY CARN I VAL TLC STAND

LEARNING DISABILITIES AWARENESS WEEK Save the date for a Webinar

We are looking for a couple of volunteers to support the Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) stand at the Wi tney Carnival this year. TLC has been in place wi thin our urgent care uni ts since the end of 2019 and over 1000 teddies have been given to young people thanks to the programme run by the Oxford Freemasons and supported by Mandy McKendry, Urgent and Ambulatory Care Matron. I f you would be free for a couple of hours on Saturday 10 July to talk to people about Urgent Care in Wi tney, please do get in touch. You would not be there alone, one of the Urgent Care team wi l l also be in at tendance alongside some of the Freemasons team, and al l appropr iate COVID pract ices wi l l be in place.

HEALTHFEST 2021

The theme, timings and plans for HealthFest 2021 are currently being developed but the date has been set as 11 September 2021 and the event will again be part of the wider Oxford Open Doors weekend, delivered by the Oxford Preservation Trust.

The event is likely to be part virtual and part 'in person' with discussions ongoing about music, sports and sponsored walks.
