6 1 42 76 19 0.23 24 69 This female is as correct and eye appealing as they come, with absolutely flawless udder quality. She traces 9 generations to the foundation DHD Blackbird 2816, a cow we purchased from performance pioneer Dale Davis in 1989. She carries a top 10% Hair Shed EPD, and we’ve found that cattle thriving on fescue pastures can adapt and excel in all other environments. She sells with a bull calf born 10/4 sired by Ginger Hill Easy Rider 253.

The Non-Negotiable Trait We demand our bulls and females reach early sexual puberty and maintain that fertility throughout their productive lives. Our yearling herd sires are routinely expected to breed 20 or more females in their first year of service. Ginger Hill bulls are masculine with loads of breed and sex character, while our cows are feminine, wedge-shaped, sound, and fleshy. These traits are fundamentally necessary if you expect cattle to raise a good calf year after year and breed back at regular calving intervals without high-cost supplemental feed. Every bull selling was calved unassisted … calving ease genetics are real and predictable.
