Ginger Hill Angus - Angus Bull & Female Sale [11/15/25]

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

What an exciting time to be in the cattle business! Record levels in all classes have put an enthusiasm into the industry that I have never seen before. It is time for our cowherds to start expansion and what a great program to tie to. It is a superior set of functional, stout, sound, good footed, good-uddered set of cattle. Brooke has a very disciplined approach to avoiding high- maintenance, low-producing, inefficient females that have poor feet, poor udders, poor dispositions and poor conversion in tough fescue country. Brooke is a high-energy, enthusiastic breeder of quality Angus cattle and he refuses to chase fads and extremes because they do not work in the environment of his farm and this region. The result of his efforts is a uniform and predictable set of cattle that represent what his goals and visions are of cattle that work and prosper in tough environments. I have learned one the past few years of assisting him, that these cattle that excel in fescue country, generally prosper in any environment, anywhere in the country. If you have ever had a chance to talk to Brooke or listen to his recent interviews with the American Angus Association of various podcasts, you will know he loves his faith, his family, his community and his lifestyle that he has worked so hard for. He is not afraid to engage conversation on all relevant issues facing not only the cattle industry, but society as well. He is direct, truthful and up front about everything. These are characteristics I truly admire and respect and it has helped him build great relationships throughout the industry. I believe the cowherd at Ginger Hill Angus will give you a tremendous foundation to rebuild and expand cowherds in an efficient and practical manner. Many cattle throughout the Angus industry have excelled in terminal traits and those cattle certainly do extremely well in the feedlot and on the rail. But breeders like Brooke have found tremendous value and need of their genetics in recent times. Commercial cattleman throughout the nation have realized they need to maintain the fertility, longevity and productivity that will help the cow/calf man’s bottom line more than anything. Sustainability is the key at Ginger Hill Angus and I hope you can come see their efforts on sale day.
