Something BIG is coming to the Sports Complex at Shadow Creek Ranch!
We will be opening a Miracle League Field as well as two turf fields for Cricket/ Rugby use at SCR in early 2022. The artificial turf Cricket/ Rugby fields will host a wide variety of related programming, including youth and adult cricket and Rugby programs, camps, and leagues! The Miracle League Field will host adaptive sport programing, serving kids of ALL abilities!

THE MIRACLE LEAGUE - ADAPTIVE BASEBALL Let’s Play Ball! In Pearland, we believe everyone deserves a chance to play baseball! In Spring 2022, Pearland Parks and Recreation is set to open their very own Miracle League; an inclusive baseball field designed to serve kids with all abilities. The league will serve ages 4 and up and will consist of a 6-week long session. The program will be free charge and will include a team shirt, hat and a trophy at the end of each season. Volunteers or “Buddies” will provide support to any player who needs additional assistance. Online registration is required. Free Individuals with disabilities Miracle League Field Saturday, March 26, April 2, 9, 23, 30 and May 7 ADAPTIVEWALKING AND EXERCISE CLASS Walk this way! Join us for an hour long fitness session. Participants will be able to access the indoor track and our hydraulic workout equipment. This class is open to anyone with a disability and is self-lead. Free Individuals with disabilities RCN Every Wednesday beginning January 12, 1 – 2 p.m. ADAPTIVE BASKETBALL The Adaptive Basketball program is open to all persons with developmental disabilities. Have fun while building fitness, coordination and teamwork. Participants learn basic basketball skills of dribbling, passing, shooting and playing defense. Open to all skill levels. Parents and caregivers must assist those who may need additional assistance to make this a rewarding experience. Free Individuals with disabilities RCN Every Thursday beginning Jan. 13, 6 – 7 p.m.
ADAPTIVE BOWLING This class is open to all persons with developmental disabilities. Come out and make new friends, improve your game and enjoy the support of other participants! Set a personal goal and work on improving every week. Parents and caregivers must assist those who may need additional assistance to make this a rewarding experience. Bowling ramps and bumpers are available. Open to all skill levels. Free Individuals with disabilities Alvin Bowling Center Every Thursday, starting January 13, 1 – 2 p.m. ADAPTIVE KAYAKING Come paddle with us! This class is open to all persons with disabilities. Participants will learn the basics of kayaking while enjoying being on the water. No experience required. All equipment and water safety will be provided; however, swimsuits are required. Participants must be comfortable in the water. Parents, guardians and caregivers must assist those with special needs to make this a rewarding experience. Limited to the first 12 participants.
