Saying your vows, enjoy your yoga practice, read a book or simply sit by the fire. The Overlook is prefect for being one with nature. Ceremonies can accommodate up to 70 guests seated with additional guests at standing room only. Event Venue Rental:$850* The Outlook is located on the lawn outside of Oak Terrace and the rental fee will include up to 50 chairs, with set up and breakdown of the chairs. Any flowers, arbors, or embellishment is the sole responsibility of the planner and host.

A Buy Out of the Hotel & Restaurant is required to have your private event at Oak Steakhouse. Oak is an innovative approach to steakhouse dining atop the Blue Ridge Mountains. Oak Steakhouse Highlands continues the legacy of the original Oak Steakhouse in Charleston, SC, with a modern take on the classic steakhouse at Skyline Lodge. Food & Beverage Minimum: $30,000 (exclusive of taxes and 23% gratuity) based on GM approval.

On a more intimate level you may enjoy booking the Mezzanine in Oak Steakhouse. Although considered a semi-private venue, the Mezzanine offers an intimate gathering space reserved exclusively for you. Your group can have a delightful dining experience at Oak Steakhouse in an exclusive area upstairs, away from the regular patrons. Here, you can either order from our extensive menu or customize a special menu based on your preferences. Rental rates may apply, 23% gratuity will be added.

Situated at an elevation of 4118 feet, the charming town of Highlands, NC offers a captivating ambiance that exudes warmth and hospitality. This mountain getaway seamlessly blends refined luxury with the beauty of nature. In Highlands, you'll encounter a unique town where mountain chic hotels, rejuvenating spas, and award-winning dining establishments coexist harmoniously alongside awe-inspiring waterfalls and hiking trails suitable for all fitness levels. While we boast numerous upscale shops and restaurants, it's important to note that certain conveniences you may be accustomed to are not available here.
