WHAT IS A FRAGRANCE WARDROBE
Just as we have different outfits in our Clothing Wardrobes for different days, we could also have a Fragrance Wardrobe with different fragrances for different occasions.

1. Seasonal Wardrobes: Do you have a Summer & Winter clothing wardrobe ? Like clothing, the fragrance seasons are Spring / Summer and autumn / Winter. • During Spring / Summer – Floral, Fruity, Aquatic and Orange Tuberose fragrances are popular. • During Autumn / Winter – Oriental, Spicy and Woody fragrances work best. 2. Everyday Wear: These are fragrances which are mostly suited to be worn during the day. For example: Floral Green, Floral Aldehyde and Chypre Floral. Perfect examples of these fragrances: Creed Aventus for HER, Modern Me Lime, Chanel No.5 and Imagine for HER. 3. Eveningwear: These fragrances are slightly stronger and have more impact. An example of this is Oriental Vanilla. Perfect examples of these fragrances: Angel and Fortune.
TOP TIP: For more Perfume Groups information, refer to the INUKA Genealogy Chart.
4. Special Occasions: If you have spent time choosing a specific outfit for a special occasion, why not have a unique fragrance to match it? Why not mix two of your favourite perfumes for the ultimate signature fragrance. A perfect example is mixing Narciso Rodriquez with Liberty with HER. 5. Moods: Choose fragrances to suit your different moods, e.g. serious, romantic, happy, humorous, etc. You could further enhance your Fragrance Wardrobe. This can be worn not only to match your mood, but also to change your mood.
WHAT ARE FRAGRANCE NOTES
Fragrance notes in perfume refer to the different scents or aromas that are blended together to create the overall fragrance or scent profile of a perfume. These notes are categorized into three main types: Top Notes, Heart Notes (or Middle Notes), and Base Notes.
Top Notes: Top notes are the initial scents you can smell when you first apply a perfume. These notes are responsible for the first impression of the perfume and typically last for about 15-30 minutes after application. Common Top Notes include Citrus fruits like Lemon, Bergamot, and Orange and herbs like Lavender or Mint, and light floral scents. Heart/Middle Notes: Heart notes come after the Top Notes have evaporated. They are considered the “Heart” of the fragrance and define its character. These notes last longer than Top Notes, usually for several hours. Heart notes often consist of floral scents like Rose, Jasmine, Lily and spices like Cinnamon or Nutmeg, and fruity aromas. Base Notes: Base Notes are the foundation of the perfume and provide depth and longevity to the fragrance. These notes emerge after the Heart Notes have faded and can linger for many hours. Base Notes typically include rich, earthy, or woody scents like Patchouli, Cedarwood, or Sandalwood, as well as sweet and resinous notes, like Vanilla, Musk, or Amber.
