Newcastle BMW Trade Parts Newsletter

VALUE PARTS & PACKAGES. BMW Value Parts & Packages is a product range specially developed to make it easier for retailers and workshops to work with BMW Genuine parts and to create attractive offers, especially for drivers of older vehicles. The range is divided into the product groups Service, Standard Repair, Alternative Repair and Assembly. BMW Value Parts & Packages combine individual parts into useful kits and enable alternative repair methods. ■ Workshop benefits: The Service, Standard Repair, Alternative Repair and Assembly Kits have been designed so that, in the event of maintenance or repair, only one part number needs to be ordered, containing all the relevant individual parts. This significantly reduces the logistical effort and time needed. ■ Added value for the customer: Value Parts & Packages offer customers original BMW quality at attractive prices. The functionality and accuracy of fit are therefore guaranteed even for older vehicles and secure the value of the vehicle. ■ About Products: Transparency and a clear division into the four specific subgroups of “Service, Standard Repair, Alternative Repair and Assembly Kits” will simplify the work with Value Parts & Packages in the future. The new structure allows us to tailor an improved offer to the respective customer groups.

THE PRODUCT PORTFOLIO FOR SERVICE AND REPAIR KITS: FOUR CLUSTERS.

SERVICE. Service Kits (SIK)

E.g. repair kits for control arms and wheel bearings. required for you as a dealer. When it comes to standard repairs in particular, these clusters cover a broad product portfolio across many series. STANDARD REPAIR. Standard Repair Kits (STAR) contain repair kits for wear parts. One-package repair kits make repairs quicker and easier, reducing the repair’s complexity and the logistics and time

ALTERNATIVE REPAIR. Customer Alternative Repair (CAR) offers new, effective repair methods. Using new repair methods saves time. What’s more, only defective component parts – as opposed to the whole component – are replaced, which also reduces cost for replacement parts. This enables you to offer repairs at competitive prices.

E.g. assembly kits for turbochargers or bumpers (without primary part). Combining up to 40 part numbers onto kits makes the ordering process much easier for you and ensures the parts are complete and in mint condition. ASSEMBLY KITS. Assembly Kits (ASK) contain small parts and attachment parts for more complex repairs.

contain individual parts for regular maintenance and inspection services. Combining cross-model and model- specific parts into one package permits special offers explicitly for older series. This keeps repair costs proportionate to the value of the vehicle. E.g. inspection and brake service.
