Joint Education Program
Improving Care After submitting a booking for an elective joint replacement, patients are now required to attend the Compulsory Joint Replacement Education Program (CJEP). This program is led by a dedicated multidisciplinary team and it covers pre-surgery preparation, post-surgery expectations, and offers patients the chance to ask questions of the nursing and Allied Health team. Since its re-launch in 2023, attendance has increased from under 20% to over 90%, with patients reporting significant benefits. This success is a testament to the hard work, collaboration, and commitment of the entire team. Thank you for your continued dedication and teamwork!
