Thank you all for your participation and feedback.

Congratulations Corner The Ryde Pharmacy Department recently won “Best Overall Poster” at the AdPha MM2024 Conference last week in Adelaide. Over 700 abstracts (or more) were submitted, and they competed with other notable hospitals around the country such as The Alfred and Austin Health. So an amazing acheivment. Congratulations. Jeffery Wang wanted to thank Jeanette (Pharmacy Manager at Ryde Hospital), and Professor Christine Lu for their guidance and support in this project, and also a huge shout out to Michelle, Nathan, Erica, Phoebe and Lily for continuing the momentum in driving this project. The Rotary Club of Macquarie Park recently held their biennial Health Care Awards, which recognise the work of local health care professionals. This year Rodger Kendall, Clinical Support Officer won the Administration Staff Award. Michael Cheng (Ward 8) recently completed his postgraduate certificate in acute medical nursing at UTS. He’s been on ward 8 since a new grad and is an asset to the ward. Isobel Mattingly (Ward 8) is in the first group of RNs to complete the acute medical CAPs program – it’s usually for the staff in critical care areas. She was the only from Ryde this intake as well. Isobel has also been accepted by UTS to complete her Post grad in acute medicine and will start the abridged course in January.
