YEAR THREE
SEMESTER ONE Hockey Clinic: As part of the Year 3 Physical Education program students participated in a Hockey Clinic where they learnt the basics, like how to correctly hold the stick and control the ball. Life Education: During the Life Education session, the Year 3 students learnt about the important systems in our body. We also engaged in a Digestive System Orchestra which was lots of fun!
YEAR THREE SRC REFLECTION
Geography: In Term 2 we focused on geography in Inquiry and learnt about different countries in the world and how they are similar and different to Australia.
Year 3 has been really interesting! Our incursion on democracy and the Australian Government was a highlight. We got to pretend to vote and even created our own debating topics, which was super fun! One of the topics we discussed was changing a new law to take dogs off leashes. Learning about the three levels of Australian Government helped us understand how decisions are made and the importance of our voices. - Krish and Olivia
Information Reports: After publishing our Information Reports, we shared them with the Prep students.
RSPCA Excursion: As part of Inquiry this term we visited the RSPCA Education Centre.
