YEAR FOUR
SEMESTER ONE Prep Buddies: From the beginning of Term 1, each Year 4 has taken on the responsibility of being a mentor and roll model to their Prep buddy. Together Prep’s and Year 4’s have participated in a variety of activities and have developed strong bonds, supporting the Preps to feel comfortable and confident at school.
YEAR FOUR SRC REFLECTION Year 4 has been full of exciting experiences! Our trip to Quantum was a blast; we learnt coding through Minecraft, which was both fun and educational. We also studied the Wurundjeri people of Victoria, discovering how they harvested and prepared food and used natural resources. It was fascinating to learn about their way of life. Book Week was another highlight — Neve dressed up as Harley Quinn and Cohen as Yuji Itadori from Jujutsu Kaisen. The book parade was awesome, and the classroom activities made it even more enjoyable. Year 4 has been packed with engaging activities and new knowledge! - Cohen and Neve
ScienceWorks: The Year 4 students had an amazing time at ScienceWorks as part of their Inquiry unit. They explored the interactive exhibits with a focus on movement, robotics, chemistry and light. They also enjoyed watching a liquid nitrogen demonstration.
