The Quantum Victoria Experience was an amazing day for both the junior and senior secondary students as it broadened their ideas of viruses, micro - bacteria and Biology as a whole. It was a pleasure to enjoy all the activities the school provided us with, I recommend every school to try it once. In the first room, we had to survive and adapt to a virtual zombie and virus simulation and saw and tested the best method of protection against infections. In the second room we had life - like DNA strands and had to decode and reveal the secret phrase hidden in the DNA. The third room was the most exciting, where we got to solve interesting puzzles and, in the end, find a cure to the Q - Virus. - Takura M Year 10 The Year 9 and 10 VIA students recently had an exciting excursion to Quantum, where they explored fascinating aspects of Biology. The day focused on hands - on activities that allowed the students to delve into the world of DNA and germs. They participated in experiments that involved analysing different DNA samples and understanding how genetic material works. The students also learned about the role of microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses, and their impact on health and the environment. Through these activities, they gained a deeper appreciation for Biology and its real - world applications, sparking their interest in the life sciences. - Zaf P Year 10
