Inspire 2024

SEMESTER TWO Incursions & Excursions: This year, students participated in various incursions and excursions designed to complement their learning in subjects like Physical Education and Food Studies. These experiences were tailored to provide practical skills, real - world applications, and hands - on learning opportunities that support classroom theory.

Extra - Curricular: Year 11 students had the chance to engage in a range of extracurricular activities, including creative performances in Wakakirri and the Performing Arts Showcase evenings – Rhythm Revival and Curtain Call, competing in Interschool sports, and participating in the Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) club. These activities aimed to foster creativity, teamwork, leadership, and personal growth beyond the classroom. The Performing Arts Showcase is the performance I look forward to the most. I love to perform in front of a big audience and enjoy the opportunity to share my talents with people. Performing in front of a crowd boosts my confidence and allows me to connect with my peers within the music and dance program. - Aiden J

When we visited the William Angliss Institute, we were able to see a range of different dining experiences offered in their student operated restaurants. This gave me insight into the food industry and the effect that different settings can have on a dining experience. This helped me to better understand the relevant Area of study . - Ryan E
